We have just posted interviews with Mamoun that were published in Sight and Sound in 1979 & 1981.
Both interviews were by Penelope Houston the editor of Sight and Sound.
The interview in 1979 was conducted after Mamouns appointment to the NFFC (National Film Finance Corporation) and in 1981, revisiting what had happened after a change of government and huge changes in the industry.

As part of the National Film & Television School’s Screen Arts presentation, in collaboration with the National Film Theatre, Mamoun introduces Kurosawa’s Throne of Blood, touching on Shakespeare on film.

The project that Mamoun developed with Bill Douglas is now in a new phase — a new director is attached and actively in negotiation with multinational investors.
Mamoun will be teaching at the International Film School (EICTV) in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, in January/February 2012.
